| The history of SeekEasyThe first version of SeekEasy was distributed in 1983, long before Windows was invented. It operated under the operating system that was in widest use then: CP/M.
When MSDOS became popular, Correlation Systems produced an improved SeekEasy (Version 5.xx) that ran under that, beginning in 1986. An updated version (Version 7.xx) was released in 1992, for MSDOS/Windows3.x. That version was in use until 1998.
In 1998 Correlation Systems produced another, much improved SeekEasy. This
version was made to run on computers using Windows 95, 98, and NT 4.0+. The
present version of SeekEasy also runs on later versions of Windows - see the
FAQ for information.
The latest version was released in February, 2000.
